Asia Mapp (they/he) has an academic background in Peace and Global Studies, African and African-American Studies, and Psychology. Since obtaining their B.A., Asia has worked in abortion care, as a community organizer, and at various intersections of mental healthcare and social work. Their scholarly interests include critical analyses of systemic power, global resistance, biopolitics, and liberation praxes. You can find them on the streets protesting for a Free Palestine, advocating for Sex Worker’s Rights & Reproductive Justice, or building sustainable QTIBIPOC community.
