Anne-Marie Harrison

Anne-Marie was 9 when she decided she would be a journalist. After graduating from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with degrees in Sociology and History, she did that for three years and then rethought the whole thing. She missed big ideas and big questions asked by people from all different worldviews and backgrounds—so she came to Berlin. Unable and unwilling to shed her journalist conditioning, Anne-Marie seeks to explore how modern European history intersects with gender identity, queer issues, and racial history. Current goals include: surviving the Berlin winter and finding the perfect burrito.
