Alexander Larocca

Alexander LaRocca is originally from North Carolina, USA, where he studied History and German Studies at East Carolina University. After researching German Liberalism and its exploitation at the time of unification for his BA and subsequently moving to Berlin, he discovered the Global History MA in 2012. Alexander sees all histories as being intertwined, and thus he believes that researching these entanglements will help draw us closer to an understanding of ourselves today. He hopes to take these methods of analysis and bring them to a more contemporary understanding of Berlin in the Nachwendezeit.
