I started the Global History MA while working as a journalist in Berlin, and the courses and research I completed through the program directly benefitted my work by strengthening my understanding of historical connections in areas including migration, the Cold War, and religion and secularization. The degree also helped me move into academia and my current job as a lecturer at the University of Melbourne in Australia.
