Felipe Caroca

After receiving a diploma in History and Education from the Playa Ancha University of Educational Sciences (UPLA) in Valparaíso, Chile, and a three-year-long stint working in a public school, Felipe decided to study abroad to become a student in the master program Global History in FU Berlin. He prefers to put the focus on multidisciplinary studies in order to develop his researches towards the History of Knowledge. He is particularly interested in working class history and the revolutionary processes throughout the world and specifically the American continent. In spite of considering himself a cosmopolitan, he is strongly concerned with the national dilemma of his home country. Therefore, he endeavours to contribute to social awareness through the academic sphere.
