Aya Kenat

Aya Kenat holds a B.A. of a double major program in General History and the interdisciplinary program of Humanities from Tel Aviv University (2017). As part of the interdisciplinary program she deepened into Latin American studies, Philosophy and Literature. Aya is a dancer and a Choreographer, a graduate of the Biannual Choreography program at Kelim Center in Bat Yam, Israel (2021). She mastered in traditional Flamenco dance in Spain and Israel, and her main interest is integrating contemporary dance methodologies to Flamenco choreography. She is interested in the form in which the singular body adopts cultural symbols and gestures, and in the possibility to reflect culture through bodies.

On October 2021 she joined the Global History program, in which she wishes to profession and expand her research skills in order to integrate her academic knowledge into her artistic practice.
