Alexandra Leonzini

Alexandra Leonzini completed a Bachelor of Music in Voice and a Bachelor of Arts in German and History at the University of Western Australia in 2012. In 2013 she completed an honours thesis looking at rioting and power relations between the management, the aristocracy, and Italian singers in 19th century London opera houses, focussing on the Tamburini Riot of 1840. As a historian of the long 19th century, Alexandra's academic interests include nationalism, emotions, and Jewish history as expressed in the musical and literary production of the period.
