Alexander-Brown

Alex graduated from the University of Manchester in 2014 with a degree in History. His thesis examined the Park Hill estate in Sheffield in order to explore how the specific form of welfare state modernism known as Brutalism developed in the context of the wider political economy of post-war Britain. He is particularly interested in the study of revolutionary movements in modern Europe as well as the study of built environments in relation to the social configurations from which they emerge.
