Irene obtained her Bachelor Degree at the faculty of Political Sciences and International Relations of Roma III. She graduated with a BA thesis about the relationship between the Soviet Union and the newborn Israeli state. She has always had an interest in the history and politics of the Middle East and the history of migrations and ethnic minorities. Apart of her university studies, she decided to study Arabic and French. With the Global History MA she hopes to deepen her interests in the various fields and to be included in a stimulating, international surrounding.
