Nagihan-Mutlu

I was born and raised in Istanbul, then moved to Freiburg to study Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Freiburg. Having written a few essays and my bachelor thesis about historiography of slavery, I have probably read a few too many depressive sources about ancient Greek and modern American slavery. I am very upset that Spartacus didn't continue moving to the north of Italy but chose to go south and fight against the Roman army. Unlike him, I seem to keep moving northwards, Berlin hopefully being the northernmost point of my life. I am very interested in resistance, agency, and dissidence, hoping to be able to come up with a coherent topic that I can explore them more and better.
